Ingredients 

Cake

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk

Filling

  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk

Frosting

  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. In a bowl, mix shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk. Spread over the cooled cake.
  6. Heat heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Spread over the coconut layer.
  7. Let the cake set before serving.
