Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced shiitake or button
  • 3 tablespoons Miso paste
  • 1 cup Tofu, cubed firm
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions, sliced

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a pot, bring the water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the sliced mushrooms and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Reduce the heat to low and dissolve the miso paste in the pot.
  4. 4. Add the cubed tofu and heat for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
