Ingredients

  • 2 cups Currants
  • 1 cup Chopped Apples
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Suet
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Allspice
  • 1 cup Brandy

Instructions 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens, about 1 hour.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
