- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk warm
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Butter softened
1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
2. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan.
6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Let the dough rise in the pan for another 30 minutes.
7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
8. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
