Main Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar for caramel
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 5 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar until it turns into a golden caramel. Pour the caramel into a baking dish, spreading it evenly over the bottom.
In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and whole milk. Blend until smooth.
Pour the milk mixture over the caramel in the baking dish.
Place the baking dish in a larger pan filled with hot water to create a water bath.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the flan is set.
Remove from the oven and let it cool. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
To serve, run a knife around the edges of the flan and invert it onto a plate.
