Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Russet Potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • ½ cup Milk warmed
  • ¼ cup Butter melted
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. 2. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher.
  3. 3. Gradually add the warm milk and melted butter, mashing until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
