Maple Walnut Tart
A delicious tart with a rich maple and walnut filling.

Filling
- 1 cup Maple syrup
- 1 cup Walnuts chopped
- 3 large Eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 pinch Salt
Crust
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup Butter cold, cubed
- 0.25 cup Sugar
- 1 large Egg yolk
- 2 tablespoon Cold water
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar for the crust. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg yolk and cold water, mix until dough forms. Press into tart pan.
In another bowl, whisk together maple syrup, beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir in chopped walnuts. Pour filling into crust.
Bake for 40 minutes or until filling is set. Let cool before serving.
