Main Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- ¾ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup chopped walnuts toasted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, and maple syrup. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
During the last few minutes of churning, add the toasted walnuts.
Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
