- 1 cup milk warm
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 eggs beaten
- ½ cup butter melted
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 liter vegetable oil for frying
- ½ cup sugar for coating
1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
2. Add sugar, beaten eggs, and melted butter to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
3. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
6. Roll the dough into small balls and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Roll in sugar while still warm.
