Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups Strawberries, hulled and mashed
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Honey (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Chia seeds (optional, for thickening)

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine strawberries and lemon juice.
  2. 2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. 3. If using, stir in honey and chia seeds. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to mason jars and refrigerate.
