Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguine
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 pounds clams, scrubbed
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. 3. Add the white wine and clams to the skillet. Cover and cook until the clams open, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any clams that do not open.
  4. 4. Add the cooked linguine and parsley to the skillet. Toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. 5. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
