Ingredients

  • 1 lb linguine
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 lbs clams, cleaned
  • 1 cup clam juice
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. 3. Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Add the clams and clam juice, cover, and cook until the clams open.
  4. 4. Toss the cooked linguine with the clam sauce. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
