Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 10 lemons organic
  • 1 liter vodka high-proof
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 cups water

Instructions 

  1. Peel the lemons, avoiding the white pith.
  2. Place the lemon peels in a large jar and pour the vodka over them. Seal the jar and let it sit for 1-2 weeks.
  3. After the infusion period, strain the lemon peels from the vodka.
  4. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat until the sugar dissolves to make a simple syrup. Let it cool.
  5. Mix the simple syrup with the infused vodka. Pour into bottles and seal.
  6. Let the limoncello mature for another week before serving chilled.
