Cake Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and poppy seeds.
In another bowl, mix yogurt, oil, eggs, lemon zest, and vanilla extract.
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
Pour batter into the prepared cake pan.
Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool before serving.
