Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz Pasta any type
  • 1 cup Basil leaves fresh
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ¼ cup Pine nuts toasted
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 unit Lemon zested and juiced
  • cup Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine basil, Parmesan, pine nuts, garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. With the blender running, slowly add olive oil until the pesto is well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. 4. Toss the cooked pasta with the lemon pesto sauce. Serve immediately.
