Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup couscous
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. 2. Stir in couscous, cover, and remove from heat. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Fluff couscous with a fork and transfer to a mixing bowl.
  4. 4. Add olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. 5. Serve warm or at room temperature.
