Lemon Cream Cheese Bars

Crust
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup butter, melted
Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
Bake crust for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and set aside.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest, and mix until well combined.
Pour the filling over the baked crust. Bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the filling is set.
Let cool completely before cutting into bars. Refrigerate leftovers.
