Main Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar for caramel
- 10 egg yolks
- 1 can condensed milk 14 oz
- 1 can evaporated milk 12 oz
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. In a saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat until it turns golden brown. Pour the caramel into the llanera or baking dish and let it cool.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg yolks, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.
3. Pour the mixture into the llanera or baking dish with the caramel.
4. Cover the llanera or baking dish with aluminum foil. Steam for about 45 minutes or until the flan is set.
5. Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
