Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Lavender finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract and chopped lavender.
  4. Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined.
  5. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool on a wire rack.
