- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup all-purpose flour sifted
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and corn syrup, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
Stir in the flour and salt until well combined. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
Drop teaspoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 3 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown. Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
