Kulfi Recipe

Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 liter Full-fat milk
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 10-12 strands Saffron optional
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios) optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the milk in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until the milk reduces to half.
  3. 3. Add the sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands. Stir well.
  4. 4. Continue to simmer until the mixture thickens.
  5. 5. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  6. 6. Pour the mixture into kulfi molds or small cups. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. 7. To serve, dip the molds in warm water for a few seconds to loosen the kulfi. Unmold and serve immediately.
