  • 2 cups glutinous rice flour
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour and coconut milk. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. Shape the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the rice balls until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  4. In a separate pan, combine the brown sugar and water. Cook over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture thickens into a syrup.
  5. Dip the fried rice balls into the syrup, ensuring they are well-coated. Serve warm.
