Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage mild or spicy
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same skillet, add the onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
  6. 6. Add the diced tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  7. 7. Return the sausage to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Serve hot.
