- 1 box chocolate cake mix prepared according to package instructions
- 2 pounds ricotta cheese
- 4 large eggs
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping
- 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix prepared according to package instructions
- 1 container whipped topping
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions and pour into a greased baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Carefully spoon the ricotta mixture over the cake batter in the pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely.
Prepare the instant chocolate pudding mix according to the package instructions and spread over the cooled cake.
Top with whipped topping and refrigerate until ready to serve.
