Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g lamb, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
  2. Add lamb slices, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook until lamb is browned.
  3. Warm pita breads in the oven or on a skillet.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt butter and add tomato sauce. Cook until heated through.
  5. To serve, place lamb on pita bread, top with tomato sauce, yogurt, and parsley.
