  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat a griddle over medium heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Make a well in the center and pour in the buttermilk. Mix to form a dough.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead lightly.
  5. Shape into a round and flatten to about ½ inch thick. Cut into quarters.
  6. Cook on the preheated griddle for about 10 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
