Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground lamb over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion, carrots, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add frozen peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes evenly on top.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top (if using).
  8. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
