Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 3 pounds corned beef brisket with spice packet
  • 1 large cabbage cut into wedges
  • 6 medium carrots peeled and cut into chunks
  • 6 medium potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 large onion peeled and cut into wedges

Instructions 

  1. 1. Place corned beef in a large pot and cover with water. Add spice packet.
  2. 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  3. 3. Add potatoes, carrots, and onion. Simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Add cabbage and simmer for another 15-20 minutes until all vegetables are tender.
  5. 5. Remove meat and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with vegetables.
