  • 1 whole chicken about 4 pounds
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rub the chicken with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. 2. Place the trivet in the Instant Pot and add the chicken broth.
  3. 3. Place the chicken on the trivet, breast side up.
  4. 4. Seal the Instant Pot and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
  5. 5. Allow the pressure to release naturally for 15 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  6. 6. Carefully remove the chicken and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
