  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoon Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 ¼ teaspoon Active dry yeast

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, honey, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add melted butter, salt, rolled oats, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.
  6. 6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  7. 7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
