Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Cooked white rice
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. 2. Form the ground beef into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the patties until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same skillet, melt the butter and whisk in the flour to make a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. 5. Gradually add the beef broth and soy sauce, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. In another skillet, fry the eggs to your liking.
  7. 7. To assemble, place a scoop of rice on each plate, top with a beef patty, then a fried egg, and pour gravy over the top. Serve immediately.
