Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup Light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Flavor extract (your choice)

Instructions 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  3. Attach a candy thermometer to the saucepan. Continue to cook without stirring until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  4. Remove from heat and stir in flavor extract and food coloring, if using.
  5. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and let it cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, break into pieces and enjoy!
