Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same skillet, add onions and cook until caramelized.
  4. 4. Sprinkle flour over onions and stir well. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until gravy thickens.
  5. 5. Return patties to the skillet, cover with gravy, and simmer for 10 minutes.
