Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Uncooked rice
  • 1 can Tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  5. In a baking dish, combine uncooked rice and the beef mixture. Mix well.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake for another 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
