- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a fork.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
