  • 500 g Gooseberries fresh or frozen
  • 400 g Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed

Instructions 

  1. 1. Wash and trim the gooseberries.
  2. 2. In a large saucepan, combine gooseberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  3. 3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar dissolves.
  4. 4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
  5. 5. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and seal immediately.
  6. 6. Let cool completely before storing in a cool, dark place.
