Instructions
1. Wash and trim the gooseberries.
2. In a large saucepan, combine gooseberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
3. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar dissolves.
4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
5. Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and seal immediately.
