Cake Base
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 large egg
Filling
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 16 oz powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and beat until combined. Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until smooth.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake base in the baking pan.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
