  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • 3 apples, peeled and sliced

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter and mix until the mixture is crumbly.
  4. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the milk and mix until well combined.
  6. Fold in the sliced apples.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  8. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool before serving.
