Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil. Mix well.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
In another bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, and baking powder. Gradually add to the sugar mixture.
Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped pecans.

Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
