Garlic Shrimp Linguine

Main Ingredients
- 12 oz linguine
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- 1 to taste salt and pepper
- 1 cup reserved pasta water
1. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
4. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, along with the reserved pasta water. Toss to combine.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped parsley.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
