Main Ingredients
- 5 lb Prime Rib Roast
- 4 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C).
Mix minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Rub the garlic mixture all over the prime rib roast.
Place the roast in a roasting pan, bone side down.
Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 325°F (165°C) and continue roasting for about 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
