Dough
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- 1 cup Warm water
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
Garlic Butter
- 4 tablespoon Butter melted
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Parsley chopped
In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Divide the dough into 8 pieces and roll each into a rope. Tie each rope into a knot.
Place the knots on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
While the knots are baking, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
Brush the garlic butter over the hot knots as soon as they come out of the oven. Serve warm.
