Ingredients 

Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Fudge Topping

  • 1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 tablespoon Butter

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
  6. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  7. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled cookies in a stripe pattern. Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
