Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions 

  1. Combine strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Freeze for 1 hour.
  3. After 1 hour, use a fork to scrape and break up the ice crystals. Return to the freezer.
  4. Repeat scraping every 30 minutes for 3 hours, until the granita is fully frozen and fluffy.
  5. Serve immediately or store in the freezer until ready to serve.
