  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups fresh peaches peeled and sliced

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  3. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Fold in the peaches. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.
