  • 4 cups fresh cherries pitted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cherries and half of the sugar. Spread the mixture in a baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, oats, remaining sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbly mixture over the cherries.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cherries are bubbly.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving.
