French Silk Pie Recipe

Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 cup Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4 Large eggs at room temperature
  • 4 oz Unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream whipped

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into a pie dish to form the crust.
  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes. Let it cool completely.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add melted chocolate and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until combined.
  6. Add eggs one at a time, beating for 5 minutes after each addition.
  7. Fold in whipped cream until well combined.
  8. Pour filling into the cooled crust. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
