Ingredients 

Macaroon Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 ¾ cup Powdered sugar
  • 3 large Egg whites at room temperature
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sift together the almond flour and powdered sugar. Set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy. Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites until well combined. Add the vanilla extract and salt.
  5. Transfer the batter to a piping bag fitted with a round tip. Pipe small circles onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Let the macaroons sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes to form a skin.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the macaroons have risen and set. Let cool completely before removing from the parchment paper.
