- 1 cup sugar

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, baking soda, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix until smooth.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet. Flatten each with a fork, making a crisscross pattern.
Bake for 10 minutes or until cookies are golden brown.
Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
