Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar for caramel
  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk 14-ounce can
  • 1 can Evaporated milk 12-ounce can
  • 5 Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the sugar until it becomes a golden caramel. Pour into a baking dish and let it harden.
  3. In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture over the hardened caramel in the baking dish.
  5. Place the baking dish in a larger pan filled with hot water, creating a water bath.
  6. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  8. To serve, run a knife around the edges and invert onto a plate.
